My favorite World War 2 shooter, Hell Let Loose, released their anticipated Update 8 titled Red Ball Express. In this update Black Matter has finally added logistic trucks to bring supplies and troops to the front, fortifications for engineers to build and upgrade, satchel charges for those same engineers to blow up enemy fortifications and garrisons, a more realistic bullet penetration system as well as updated hitboxes and limb damage, the grease gun for US crewmen, and some serious meta changes, such as a minimum of 200m between garrisons. But the big addition we’re going to be highlighting in today’s video is the Hurtgen Forest overhaul. This update to a classic Hell Let Loose map was much needed and MAN does it look amazing. I managed to capture this fantastic defense as the US on the first day of the update, so here’s some lightly edited gameplay showcasing this fantastic redesign (and a lot of the great new explosion effects!)
